A wedding vault

The guests decide when you hear from them.

Everyone at your wedding leaves you a message — written, spoken or filmed — and chooses the day it opens. Your first anniversary. Twenty-five years from now. The day you become parents. We hold it, and we deliver it.

No app for your guests. No account. They scan a card at the table and they are done in about a minute.

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

1

You get a link

The moment you buy. It goes in the invitation, on your wedding website, and on the printed cards for the tables.

2

Guests leave a message

They scan the card. No app, no account, no password. They write, speak or film — whichever is easier.

3

They choose the day

Your first anniversary. Ten years. Twenty-five. The day you become parents. Their choice, not ours.

4

It arrives

On the morning of the day they chose. Until then you can see that a message exists and when it opens — never who it is from.

A guestbook hands you everything at once, then deletes it.

Video guestbooks give you a folder the next morning and take it down inside fourteen months. Everyone reads everything in one sitting, and that is the last time anyone opens it.

This is the opposite. Nothing arrives on the day. Something arrives on an anniversary you had almost forgotten, in a year when you needed it, from someone who may not be here to say it again.

The promise, in the words we are willing to print.

We commit to keeping your guests' messages and delivering them for twenty-five years from your wedding date. Three complete copies, two different companies, three places that would not be destroyed by the same disaster, one copy locked so that we ourselves cannot delete it.

When a date arrives we release the message into your vault first, and then try to reach you — so even if every email address you have today is dead in 2051, the message is still there, waiting.

Your messages arriving sooner than planned is our worst case. Losing them is not on the list.

Paid once. Never a subscription.

A monthly fee is exactly how a twenty-five-year promise breaks: a card expires in 2033 and a message meant for 2051 quietly stops existing. So you pay once, and part of what you pay is set aside in escrow to fund the years you bought.
